”HOW TO ADVOID BEING A COCKTAIL WEENIE”

 

How many nights have you lingered by the shrimp tree at a networking event and asked yourself, “What am I doing here?” If doing a few simple things could help you take the work out of networking, enhance your confidence, and generate advice, support, feedback, and development positive relationships, wouldn’t you want to do those things?

Rationale for This Session:

Knowing what is expected and acceptable behavior for every business and professional situation is vital. And, knowledge about how to present yourself professionally when mixing business with pleasure is an essential part of your role as a representative of your department. In the next hour and a half these practical and interesting tips and exercises will help you help you to understand the guidelines for interacting in mixing and networking scenarios and avoid being a “cocktail weenie”.
