Lina Baltaji - Manager - Business Development - Lina Baltaji is the director of “Etiquette Wise”, the newest affiliate of the International Institute of Civility located in Beirut, Lebanon. Her interest in education and her passion for personal development started in the late 1990s, with the completion of her degree in Education, and, most recently, her special interest in the benefits of etiquette and “proper” communication. To meet the needs of an evolving and metropolitan country, Lina realized that opening a school in the capital city would enhance positive communication and build on the already kind, warm and sincere qualities of the Lebanese people. To compliment her background in education, Lina Baltaji has trained with Karen Mallet, president of the International School of Civility, a recognized leader in the field of personal and professional etiquette and communication. Lina has undertaken the challenge of linking strategies for positive communication with the increasingly demanding personal and professional challenges we face daily. Her guidelines will enhance the already prevalent positive characteristics of Lebanese culture and communication. Classes at Etiquette Wise will commence in the fall of 2008, with a variety of classes for children, youth and teens. Along with these programs, she is proud to offer adult courses in various areas of etiquette, including, but not limited to, social dining, planning the ideal dinner party and “Projecting a Positive Personal Image”. Lina’s philosophy is best summed up in her own words: “Etiquette to me is a respectful path that includes many stepping stones. I am very proud to implement programs that reflect on the importance practice of the guidelines of etiquette and civility in all social settings, children, youth, teens and adults”. |
