Karen Mallett - President of Civility Works

Karen Mallett is the owner of the internationally recognized training company Civility Works and the President of the International Institute of Civility. She is a professional speaker with broad teaching and facilitation experience and is in high demand as a conference presenter.

Karen has been nominated for national awards including “Celebrating the Extraordinary” with RBC for entrepreneurs for her work in the areas of civility and respectful community and work environments. In addition to authoring six books, her favourite being the kid’s book, “Beware the Table Monsters”, Karen is involved with ongoing writing and curriculum design programs for Civility Works and in partnership with various business organizations. With the addition of programs in Conflict Resolution, Civility Works is not only helping organizations take pride in their professional presence but continuing the process with skills that help individuals grow with confidence and gather knowledge to communicate more effectively.

Her accomplishments include touring Canada as national spokesperson for Cadillac Fairview’s SHOP! card, working with Cambridge University in New York as a mentor for the Operation Enterprise program and writing for Canadian Living Magazine as a columnist for, “Sticky Situations”.

Karen has proudly worked with many business owners to help build success within their companies and expanded in May 2008 to include affiliate offices in Beirut, Lebanon, Phoenix, Arizona and Chicago, Illinois. September 2009 brought about a much anticipated partnership with Bellalur in Quebec, Canada and, in expanding, has proudly made us a truly Canadian bilingual training company.
