Janet Watson – International Institute of Civility
“The Etiquette Class”

With a strong belief in the improvement of social skills and our challenges in civil communication, along with a degree in education, Janet Watson has become passionate about her teaching of etiquette and civility.

As a Director with the International Institute of Civility, Janet continues to expand her area of expertise in social etiquette and cultural awareness by traveling the world to make sure her teachings are current and relevant. She is a graduate of the leading trade organization, Coaches Training Institute, and works with individuals to develop their professional presence and communication styles. With her training and affiliation with Civility Works, she has had a positive impact facilitating her sessions by building the confidence of others along with the ability to approach the teaching of etiquette with humor, grace and understanding. Janet believes that proper etiquette is not only respected but expected.

This spring the International Institute of Civility will be launching “The Etiquette Class”, a brand new division focused on Social Etiquette and designed to assist our clients in making well thought out decisions with attention to detail and guidelines for entertaining. After many requests for this type of training, Janet will be focusing her time working with event planners, experts in menu design, interior designers to develop curriculum and “how to” books to assist our clients in bringing etiquette and civility into their social plans and events.
